Research Assistant
Alyk Moomaw
Alyk is a fifth-year undergraduate student majoring in mechanical engineering and minoring in East Asian studies. They’re interested directly addressing climate change in their professional work.
Currently Alyk works as a design engineer and research assistant with Jack Lamb in Hoyt’s lab, working to develop the structures of flux chambers housing low-cost GHG sensors to be deployed in Amazonian floodplain forests. They will graduate from Stanford in June 2023.
